INFANT/TODDLER SERVICES

About Us

Parents and professionals sometimes feel that a child may have a need for special care and education in his or her early years. An evaluation of an infant or toddler's development can help determine if this feeling is correct.

The programs in the Infant/Toddler Services can provide free evaluations of infants and toddlers of ages birth to three who received no prenatal care; had a difficult birth; had medical complications before or after birth; were born prematurely or have a very low birth weight; were born to teenage mothers or mothers over 40; have genetic disorders or birth defects; have been diagnosed as failure to thrive; have feeding or sucking difficulties; have suspected vision or hearing disorders or a history of recurrent otitis media; have a family history of developmental difficulties; or are suspected of having a developmental delay.

The programs listed can provide developmental screenings and evaluation which will identify children who need early intervention.
