Jim Rodman

Mr.
Rodman is a career educator with 37 years as a teacher, counselor,
director of guidance and consultant. Jim presently serves a Director of
School Improvement Services at the Southeast Kansas Education Service
Center at Greenbush. He has been on the staff at Greenbush for 16 years as
a coordinator or program director.
Jim
holds a BA in Speech and Masters in Communication from Southwestern
Oklahoma State University and a counseling license from Ft. Hayes State
University. He is a License Clinical Professional Counselor and a licensed
teacher and school Counselor.
Mr.
Rodman has served as President of both the Kansas School Counseling
Association and the Kansas Counseling Association and has been honored as
the Kansas School Counselor of the Year and Kansas Counselor of the Year.
Little
known facts:
Jim is an avid fly fisherman an annually presents fly fishing classes.
Jim loves to work in the garden.
Jim spent 23 summers as a crop hail adjuster in the state of Kansas.
Becky Herlocker | View Photo
Becky is the coordinator of the site
based staff development project for School Improvement Services at
Greenbush. This is her tenth year at Greenbush. Her other duties have included coordinating the Greenbush
Carl Perkins Consortium, coordinating the Healthy Living Consortium,
assisting in revising the Healthy Living Curriculum, facilitating center
based workshops, the crisis project, the Annual Miniconference, Journeys
and Destinations Career Fair and the MAP/NWEA Consortium.
Becky has been married to
Brian for seven years and has two children, Brianna, 4 and Bethany, 16
months.
Little known facts:
-Becky directs Vacation Bible School at the Farlington United Methodist
Church and is the Treasurer for their new Community Building at the
church.
-Becky is the daughter of a retired Kansas Highway Patrol Sergeant and
current sheriff of Montgomery County.
-Becky
worked with developmentally disabled children and adults in Joplin, MO for
three years as a camp counselor.
Ginger Mein

Virginia (Ginger) Mein has been an employee of the
Southeast Kansas Education Service Center for 21 years. She is the System
Manager for the Professional Development Planner Toolbox which is the data
management system for the 88 member districts of the Professional
Development Planning Toolbox Consortium. The job of Program Assistant
involves daily preparation of transcripts for recertification, making
ready all needed materials for the fall and spring KNEA/Greenbush Official
Professional Development Council Trainings, and providing PDP Toolbox
technical support for teachers of member districts.
Ginger has been married to Alan for 37 years and has two children and one grandchild.
Little known facts:
-Almost daily, takes mail to post office for Greenbush
-Almost daily, turns off coffeemaker in old kitchen
-Sings in church choir
Stacy Shireman

Stacy Shireman is the coordinator of center based workshops at Greenbush. This is her ninth year in the School Improvement Services department. Her other projects have included coordinating GACK (Greenbush Assessment Consortium for Kids), Data Warehouse, Fine Arts Consortium, assisting in creating the Just In Time Administrator Newsletter, facilitating The Annual Reading Conference, and coordinating the Title I, Title II and Special Education Consortiums.
Stacy has been married to Dale for eight years and has two children, Laney, 6 and Gabe, 4.
Little known facts:
-Stacy has been a baton twirler for 25 years and currently teaches at the Star Authority Dance Studio in Girard.
-Stacy’s sister Andrea, brother-in-law Todd, and niece Anistyn live in Western Kansas.
-Stacy represented the state of Kansas multiple times at Notre Dame University in the National Twirling Championship.
Julie Sneed | View Photo
Julie Sneed is the coordinator of five
Teaching American History grants. This is her third year in the School
Improvement department. Her other projects include coordinating the
Comprehensive On-Line Needs Assessment, the PDP toolbox, and center based
workshops.
Julie has been married to Dustin for three years and has one daughter, Haylee, 3 months and two dogs, Mia and Ema.
Little known facts:
-Julie worked summers while in college
for the National Park Service in both California and North Carolina
-Julie and her husband got caught in a hurricane while on a cruise for
their first anniversary
-Julie enjoys camping and fishing |
