Program Description: Assist school districts to identify and obtain additional sources of funding for educational programs. Since 1991, the staff associated with Grant Development have generated over $1 billion for educational services, training, and technology for students and staff. Grant staff also provide school districts with grant research and writing support in the development of local applications. In addition, staff regularly collaborate with other Greenbush programs and services in developing comprehensive grant applications to state, federal, and private funding agencies.
Evaluation is an important component to any successful grant application. Since 2002 grant staff have been providing comprehensive evaluation solutions for school districts who need access to an outside non-partial evaluator. Staff are available to provide support and guidance in the development of evaluation sections of state and federal grant submissions; to provide on-site visits as warranted by the funding agencies; online or bubble-sheet survey instrument development and administration; and evaluative reporting.
Services we offer:
- Grant writing assistance for foundations, local, state, and federal projects
- Evaluation for state and federal projects
- Technical assistance for school districts writing proposals
How does this benefit schools: Districts are able to submit quality competitive grant applications to potential funding organizations. If necessary, districts can contract for external evaluation services to meet and exceed evaluation requirements as established by many funding organizations.
