Program Description:
KVC Academy is a K-12 educational program that serves children and adolescents admitted to KVC Behavioral Health Care in Kansas City, Kansas.  KVC Academy educates both special education and regular education students.  

Services we offer:
KVC Academy provides a therapeutic, educational environment for students experiencing emotional, psychological and behavioral difficulties.  Instruction is individualized and emphasis is placed on differentiated strategies and the use of multiple intelligences.  Curriculum is standards-based using the computerized Virtual Learning Program.

How does this benefit schools:
KVC Academy provides students with academic, behavioral and emotional supports and strategies that they can use to be more successful when they are reintegrated into their home schools.  KVC Academy can also help facilitate the transition as students move to their receiving schools.
