Southeast Kansas Education Service Center - Greenbush
Project Plus

Program Description:
Project Plus is an alternative school for elementary and secondary students with emotional disabilities who do not function successfully in the traditional public school.  Teachers are certified in special education and academic programs accommodate the individual’s skills and abilities.  Students may attend on a partial or full-time basis  as determined appropriate by the IEP team.

Services we offer:
Students can receive specially designed instruction in setting which emphasizes positive behavioral supports.  Related services are provided by the student’s home school district.  Member districts of the consortium surrounding the Topeka area purchase slots for their students who demonstrate a need for an alternative to their home school.

How does this benefit schools:
This program offers an alternative for providing education to students with disabilities who are unable to function successfully in a larger school environment.
