Southeast Kansas Education Service Center - Greenbush
Principal Leadership Series

Program Description:
Principal’s Leadership Series is a six-part series that provides opportunities to Principals to direct their own learning, network with other building principals, participate in a support system designed to foster discussion of issues relevant to their work as leaders, use technology to enhance learning, networking, and support.

Services we offer:

Learning and networking together via one center-based meeting, six facilitated teleconference meetings, and a dedicated blog. Principals will determine the content of the series that could include topics such as:

  • Current educational news
  • Book studies; monthly discussions of educational periodicals such as Education Leadership
  • Work/life balance; dealing with the stress of the job
  • Critical issues; problem identification, research
  • Assessment updates
  • Guest speakers
  • Principals tell us they want to network with other principals and develop relationships with people who know the pressures and rewards of their jobs.
  • Principals tell us they want to attack problems we have in common and learn together to support teaching and learning.

How does this benefit schools:

The series allows principals to network with other principals and develop relationships with people who know the pressures and rewards of their jobs as well as learning together to support teaching and learning.
