Program Description:
Student Leadership Academy (SLA) provides a monthly opportunity for middle school students from area schools to foster technology literacy skills while incorporating character education through The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Goals of the program include increase problem-solving and communication skills, increase knowledge about alcohol, tobacco, and other drug refusal skills, and introduce the latest technology trends. Two sessions are held to accommodate the geography of the districts who wish to participate-North and South.

• Monthly sessions at Greenbush or Greenbush of Topeka
• Provide participants access to cutting-edge technology
• Small group instruction with hands on activities
• Provide a unique learning opportunity with peers from surrounding Communities

Cost:
$100 per student
