Virtual Prescriptive Learning
Program Description:
Virtual Prescriptive Learning is a unique, individualized learning program dedicated to providing equal educational opportunities for students. VPL offers new opportunities and options for school districts with limited resources. The VPL support team are educators helping educators develop and refine solutions for individual schools and students. We offer research-based curriculum, diagnostic assessment and immediate instructional prescription for skill gaps, onsite training, and easy access to highly qualified support staff. VPL utilizes the A+ software which we have aligned to Kansas State Standards.
Services we offer:
Virtual Prescriptive Learning may be used for assessment/prescriptive lessons, accelerated course offerings, summer school classes, course credit recovery and curriculum expansion. Our staff will work with your school district to develop implementation ideas which may include Special Education opportunities, alternative education curriculum, remediation, and skill building. VPL staff can demonstrate additional offerings which include A+ Learning Link, Academy of Reading and Math, and LearnKey.

Virtual Prescriptive Learning enables districts to keep programs in this time of financial and staffing shortages. It can help initiate innovative programs and is an unmatched value during this economic crisis. Funding for VPL may be come from At Risk funds, Title 1, SPED funds, as well as innovative program money. In 2007, 94% of the SPED students at Washburn Rural Middle School scored proficient on the State Math Assessment. For the KAMM Assessment, one student improved his score 35 points using the VPL State Assessment Prep course. VPL can assist with improved data driven decision making using real time data.
