Southeast Kansas Education Service Center - Greenbush
WorkKeys

Program Description:
Helping students obtain 21st Century Workforce skills is an increasingly important goal of school districts.  WorkKeys provides teachers and administrators with an assessment system that measures real-world work skills.  With WorkKeys, educators are able to accurately compare the skill levels required by jobs in ACT’s job profiles database to those of individuals who have taken the WorkKeys assessment.

WorkKeys assists educators to deliver student instruction relevant to today’s workforce.  Reporting options that are available through WorkKeys makes it much easier for administrators to meet reporting and assessment requirements of No Child Left Behind (NCLB).

Services we offer:

  • Onsite training for teachers and administrators addressing the effective administration of WorkKeys
  • Reduced cost for WorkKeys workbooks and assessment
  • Assistance in the interpretation of assessment results

Greenbush can also assist schools to incorporate WorkKeys as part of a comprehensive 21st Century Workforce Development Program.

How does this benefit schools:

  • Connects work skills, training, and testing for educators
  • Addresses reporting and assessment requirements of No Child Left Behind and Carl Perkins;
  • Creates the basis for workforce development curriculum and assessment;
  • Allows students to earn a National Career Readiness Certificate and the Kansas WORKReady Certificate
