Program Description:
School Improvement Services focus is to assist our member schools to reach and maintain academic excellence and AYP. SIS employs quality staff and consultants who have the expertise to provide training, technical assistance and facilitation of processes to support meeting the requirements of No Child Left Behind and MTSS. School Improvement Services will assist schools on their journey with a training continuum that will support their specific MTSS needs. Schools participating in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support training through SIS/Greenbush will be offered a two-year training opportunity using the KSDE sanctioned innovation configuration matrix.

Services we offer:
Membership to School Improvement Services gives districts access to research-based processes, programs, and models, as well as, center and site-based professional development; web based staff development and technical assistance.

Benefits for member districts include:

• Facilitation of the Greenbush Comprehensive Online Needs Assessment.
• Each School Improvement Services district will be assigned a School Improvement Services consultant.
• Online Curriculum Alignment Process designed to help schools tightly align local curriculum to state standards .
• District staff may attend center-based professional development sessions at Greenbush and Topeka and online web based professional development opportunities at $35 per session...a savings of $85 per session.
• Districts are eligible to receive eighteen hours of customized onsite professional development. School districts will pay only expenses and materials. SIS encourages that three hours be comprehensive staff development planning.

Membership Fee:
$1,300 plus $3.50 FTE

Additional time purchased at $150/hour plus expenses and materials
Additional charges may be incurred for any presenters, consultants or services that can not be delivered by SIS staff.
