All Day Kindergarten

Program Description:
All Day Kindergarten project provides a customized, systematic approach to support districts considering the implementation of a full day kindergarten.

 

Services we offer:
Participation in this project provides three days of professional development in the district.

• Day 1:     Strategies to assist districts in goal setting and communicating with stakeholders
• Day 2:     Designing Centers - A review of the classroom(s) by Kindergarten education specialists followed by the custom design of appropriate learning centers
• Day 3:     Identification of appropriate instructional resources, Use of developmentally appropriate best practices, and Evaluation procedures

 

How does this benefit schools:
Each participating district will receive two copies of the Full Day Kindergarten Resource book and curriculum created by Greenbush. Technical assistance is available for the implementation of all day kindergarten.
