Civil Rights Consortium

Program Description:

The Greenbush Civil Rights Consortium exists to assist districts in navigating Title II, Section 504, Title VI and Title IX Civil Rights regulations.

Services we offer:
Assistance is customized to meet each member districts needs.  Services include:

  • Professional Development
  • Access to Civil Rights resources, handouts, tip sheets, and presentations.
  • Building walk-through to review compliance with Accessibility Standards (ANSI, UFAS, ADA)
  • Personalized assistance preparing for a Civil Rights review should your district be selected for an audit.  This includes collecting and organizing all information required for an audit, as well as conducting mock interviews with district staff.

How does this benefit schools:
Participation in the consortium provides school staff with the necessary information to better understand and comply with Civil Rights regulations under Title II, Section 504, Title VI and Title IX.

Please note: the services provided through the consortium are meant to serve as a resource and are not a replacement for legal advice.
