Program Description:
Greenbush Online Learning provides schools a wide range of innovative approaches to 21st century education while focusing on student achievement. It provides school districts and students with a wide range of high school courses which are delivered through the Internet. Our certified instructors are highly qualified with an average of five to seven years of online teaching experience. Greenbush Online Learning is an accredited distanced education program by AdvancED.

Services we offer:
Our complete catalog of standards-based courses can be used to enhance a districts curricular offerings. District staff will have real-time access to students' progress and reports. Greenbush Online Learning courses are unique from other Web-based courses because of their interactivity and student-centered focus. All the tools and materials a student needs to take a course are contained within the course, with a few exceptions where a textbook may be needed.

Students are responsible for their own learning with guidance from their teacher, make choices in the paths they take, and select from many different learning activities and experiences. Students encounter increasing levels of complexity and sophistication within the course content so that they acquire an ever-widening understanding of the concepts being presented. The Online courses give students the opportunity to learn using a myriad of learning tools that are unique to Web-based distance education, including dynamic learning activities, student-selected learning paths, multimedia-reinforced learning, self-monitoring of progress and the ability to create multimedia portfolios, all in a seamless learning environment not bound by time or space.

How does this benefit schools:
Greenbush Online Learning can assist districts through online courses which can address such issues as Curriculum Expansion, Credit Recovery, Scheduling Conflicts, Gifted Education, Alternative Education, Extended School Day/School Year, and Outreach Programs. These services can be funded with At Risk, Title I, and Stimulus Recovering funds.
