Greenbush Connects
"We have used the on-line interactive speech program in our school. The program was very effective. The students remained engaged in lessons due to the use of technology. This program allowed us to support all of our students with speech needs even though a speech pathologist was not always available on site. The technology was user friendly and very reliable. I would definitely recommend this program to other districts." - Dr. Dale May
Greenbush Connects is a program designed to provide specialized services, including occupational, physical, and speech-language therapies as well as health supervision to students via interactive video conferencing. Many school districts today struggle with meeting the therapy and/or health needs of students with communication impairments due to shortages of highly qualified therapists and nurses. These staff shortages can lead to higher student caseloads and travel responsibilities of therapists already employed by a districts. In some instances, students may even begin to receive less direct therapy than they may actually need to make progress towards Individual Education Plan yearly goals. Greenbush Connects helps districts meet the need of students by providing highly qualified therapists and nurses through a virtual service delivery model.
