Utilizing a mixture of math, science and art, we will learn about primary and secondary colors and create a colorful “monster” work of art. Teachers will be asked to supply paint, paper and straws.

  • K.MD.3 Classify objects into given categories; count the numbers of objects in each category and sort the categories by count 

Kansas College and Career Ready Standards for Science

  • K-PS2-1 Plan and conduct an investigation to compare the effects of different strengths or different directions of pushes and pulls on the motion of an object. 
  • K-PS2-2 Analyze data to determine if a design solution works as intended to change the speed or direction of an object with a push or a pull.
