Educationally Relevant Related Services – Lawrence
Join us for a dynamic one-day workshop designed to strengthen decision-making in special education related services. This session will uncover inconsistencies in service determinations and help participants confidently make decisions that are educationally relevant and necessary.
Through collaborative discussions, we’ll examine your role in the evaluation process and explore how values and assumptions shape service decisions. We’ll also address the critical distinction between caseloads and workloads, equipping participants with strategies to ensure service decisions are based on student needs rather than staffing constraints.
Participants will engage in scenario-based discussions to navigate legal considerations and explore how to lead through a full continuum of services, ensuring students receive appropriate support in the least restrictive environment. Additionally, we’ll tackle common barriers to implementation and introduce practical coaching techniques to support staff and foster a culture of collaboration.
By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with actionable strategies and tools to build staff confidence, advocate for effective service models, and ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive.
