From Kansas’ leading restorative practices training program, this workshop will provide an overview and introduction to the application of restorative justice values in educational settings. Restorative approaches have been heralded across the nation in their ability to build relationships, foster accountability, transform school climate, and build a stronger school community.

In this interactive training, participants will learn: 

  • Foundational values and practices of Restorative Justice across diverse school applications
  • Best practices in implementation for successful and sustainable restorative school initiatives
  • The basics of circle process - the most widely used practice in restorative schools
  • Latest research on the impact of restorative approaches in schools - why the movement is growing, and how you can bring it to your school

Cost:  $30 for BaSES Consortium Members
           $90 for Non-BaSES Consortium Members
