We will take a look at several online modules that are completely free and ready to use in your classroom or in a virtual setting. These modules use a combination of scientific inquiry, modeling, and interaction with real data to help students develop questions and construct arguments from evidence as they learn about each topic. Most of these resources are centered around Earth Science topics (Weather, Plate Tectonics, Volcanoes, and Earthquakes, etc.) but there are some that can be used for other sciences as well as coding. Participants will get an overview of the modules available and how they look from a student and a teacher perspective, how to set up classes and get students working. As well as ideas for how to use and implement these resources in whole or in part.
