Geary County Virtual Learning Center (GCVLC) is an online program focused on helping adults who did not graduate with their class complete their high school diploma. Being virtual means that classes are open 24/7 and you can complete them as they fit into your already busy schedule from the comfort of your own home, at work, at the public library, or just about anywhere there is an internet connection. Once you complete the program, you will receive a Junction City High School or Council Grove High School diploma.
Certified teachers are available online and in the center to help you if you have any questions.
You might think that such an individualized program would be expensive, but actually it is offered at no cost to you, the student. Computers are available for rent through the program, but if you have your own computer you can complete your diploma for free.
Why not get started on your future today?
Here’s how it works:
  • We compare your transcript from your former high school to the requirements for a Junction City High School or Council Grove High School diploma.
  • We determine the courses you still need to complete to fill in the gaps
  • At your pace you complete the courses to meet the requirements
  • It’s as easy as that!!
