Monica Murnan, MSED, has served in various Greenbush leadership roles for 12 years, including work with early childhood, literacy instruction, home visiting programs, migrant education, community development, school-based Medicaid reimbursement, behavioral health, and program evaluation. She currently serves as the Director of the Center of Community Supports at Greenbush. She is a longtime early childhood advocate, licensed teacher, and administrator. She has served as Executive Director of the Family Resource Center and Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas. Her work in program development, implementation, management, and evaluation helped her develop fiscal planning, collaborative programming, and organizational development skills to maximize resources. Murnan serves as a member of the Kansas Children’s Cabinet and Trust Fund and on the Kansas Fights Addiction Board, along with several state, regional, and local boards. She served two terms in the Kansas House of Representatives and on the City Commission in Pittsburg, Kansas, serving one year as Mayor. Her experiences with schools, communities, municipalities, state agencies, and local systems give her a unique ability to work with groups in the planning process. Murnan is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with a Master in School Administration and a Bachelor in Elementary Education, and has served as the National President of the Pittsburg State University Alumni Association.

Dawn Flores, MSHRD, Project Manager, has a decade of experience with Greenbush around strategic planning, proposal development, program administration, grant/contract management, and evaluation. During that time, she’s assisted schools, communities, and health care organizations on local, state, and federal projects. Prior to working at Greenbush, she provided direct services to students and families, and was responsible for a regional technical assistance and training contract. Flores serves on three boards focused on primary health care, housing and social determinants of health, and education. She has also served as a statewide trainer since 2014. Flores has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a master’s degree in Human Resource Development with an emphasis in Organizational Development and Leadership.

Ryan Vaughn, Ed.D., serves as Project Manager and has been a leader at Greenbush for nearly a decade. His expertise spans strategic planning, departmental restructuring, grant writing and evaluation, report development, and data analysis. Dr. Vaughn’s extensive experience in educational and organizational leadership has empowered him to support Kansas school districts and community organizations through strategic partnerships, planning initiatives, and leadership coaching. He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership, underscoring his commitment to driving impactful change within educational and community settings.
