Leadership Academy

Greenbush Leadership Academy is a year-long professional development and networking program for aspiring and practicing Kansas building leaders.

Hosted at the Greenbush main campus in Girard and the Greenbush Resource Center in Lawrence, Greenbush Leadership Academy brings in school leaders, University leaders, specialists, and partners in the private sector to provide meaningful and beneficial day-long professional development activities for participants once per month. Leadership Academy is also a KSDE approved mentoring program for new building level administrators.

Greenbush Leadership Academy lasts for the full academic year and meets one day per month beginning in September and running through May.

What You’ll Learn at the Academy

Creating a collegial network with other educational leaders and peers

Learning trends and forces shaping Kansas education

Enhancing communication and presentation skills

Developing a plan for professional and personal development

Note: This program meets all of the KSDE mentoring requirements for building leaders.
