Expanded Emergency Substitute Modules

KSDE has made an opportunity available for individuals to obtain an Emergency Substitute License through the completion of 10 modules and with verification from a supporting school district, even if you do not have any post-secondary or college hours.

Each interested, prospective candidate should visit first with one or more school districts about the opportunity to serve in this role. Once you have received confirmation from a school district that they would like for you to move forward, you can begin the steps toward module completion as follows:

• To begin, please go to plus.greenbush.org and complete the “Sign Up” process to be able to access the modules

• HERE is a video about applying to receive your license once you have completed the Greenbush+ Emergency Substitute License Modules and have received your certificate of completion
