What is Crisis Prevention & Response?
The Crisis Consortium Team strives to collaboratively initiate growth within school communities through proactive and responsive crisis-related education and supports by building community-wide connections and guiding skillful responses.
Currently serving over 70 school districts and meeting the needs of districts state-wide, the Crisis Prevention and Response team provides a continuum of crisis-related services and resources offered remotely or on-site. School districts can invest in support at Basic, Standard, and Enhanced levels.
Service Options
Basic-Level Crisis Prevention & Response Support
- Virtual support in times of crisis
Not all crises require on-site support. During these times, virtual resources are provided by the Crisis Coordinator to aid districts in feeling the connectivity with needed assistance.
- Crisis communication templates & resources
Crisis communication is an essential component of any crisis response. The Crisis Consortium has templates and resources to assist a district through this phase of a crisis.
- Crisis plan review & audit
A proactive approach to assure a district’s response to any crisis is timely, appropriate, and useful.
- CrisisGo: Crisis management platform (10% discount)

The Crisis Consortium strives to provide relevant and professional training to districts allowing each district to prepare, prevent, respond, and recover from a crisis.
- Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with your local Community Mental Health Center (CMHC)
This partnership allows for expert-level behavioral health support to districts during crisis times by your local CMHC, ensuring seamless care can be provided for staff and students following a crisis event.
- On-site threat assessment & evaluation
Our Crisis Coordinator provides districts with the tools and support needed to better prepare for a crisis by assessing the district’s facilities, the entire campus, and day-to-day practices.
