Our team has a passion for helping people navigate crisis management. We bring a deep understanding of school and community needs to the table due to broad experience and training, including:

  • Working with schools to apply outcome-based processes founded on the National Association of School Psychologists’ PrePare Model.
  • 30 + years of career experience in law enforcement and eight years of managing a 160-bed correctional facility.
  • Graduation from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and FBI National Academy.
  • Various experience serving on community boards, including schools and local government.
  • Organizational safety and readiness assessment for schools and communities.
  • Crisis communication protocols and templates.
  • Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping, advanced analysis, and data visualization.
  • Stakeholder interviews and surveys.
  • Emergency Operations Plan support, including preparedness checklists, emergency plan development, and tiered staff training.
  • Interagency collaboration workshops, role clarification, all-hazards preparedness training, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Behavioral Threat Assessment Awareness training, as well as suicide prevention and Mental Health First Aid resources.
  • Tornado and severe weather drill facilitation, tabletop exercises, and active threat planning.
  • Emergency management of technology guidance, procurement assistance, SRO-specific tools, and grant/funding support.
