OUR EXPERIENCE

Our team has a passion for helping people navigate crisis management. We bring a deep understanding of school and community needs to the table due to broad experience and training, including:

• Working with schools to apply outcome-based processes founded on the National Association of School Psychologists’ PrePare Model.
• 30 + years of career experience in law enforcement and eight years of managing a 160-bed correctional facility.
• Graduation from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and FBI National Academy.
• Various experience serving on community boards, including schools and local government.

• Readiness assessment, including targeted review of recovery readiness, documentation, roles, communications, partner coordination, and ability to restore essential operations.
• Continuity of operations planning tools, including templates and coaching to identify essential functions, continuity roles, alternate processes, restoration priorities, dependencies, and recovery time objectives.
• Performance tracking, including development of recovery performance indicators, corrective-action tracking, dashboard-ready metrics, and recurring status reviews.
• Reunification and continuity planning, including review and improvement of workflows for reuniting teams, building re-entry considerations, communication pathways, and operational continuity planning tools.
• After-incident review, including after-incident meetings, as well as interviews with stakeholders to discuss observations, strengths, and areas for improvement to develop corrective action.
• After-drill review, including structured review after tabletop, tornado, active threat, reunification, severe weather, or other emergency exercises to identify capability gaps and implementation needs.
• Comprehensive Needs Assessment, including formal report with gap analysis, actionable recommendations, collaboration strategies, resource prioritization guidance, and prioritized action plan.
