GEI Workshop, 2-Part Series (Day 1) – Virtual
General education interventions (GEI) are part of the Child Find requirement for schools and are implemented for students KG through the age of 21. The GEI process provides an opportunity to identify methods and procedures that help ensure students are making educational progress. Using a whole-child approach, teams will learn about the foundational elements of GEI including the individual student problem-solving process, and components of the intervention. Participants will also gain clarity around differences between the types of support and services offered within the classroom and school setting.
