Navigating Proactive Practices for Behavior – Lawrence
Behavioral challenges can complicate eligibility, placement, and disciplinary decisions—but with the right lens, they can also guide stronger support plans.
This session explores how to proactively address behavior through data-informed practices, recognize behavioral indicators tied to disability, and navigate discipline decisions within the legal frameworks of IDEA and Section 504.
Participants will gain clarity on manifestation determinations, behavioral supports, and how to lead teams in making sound, student-centered decisions that balance accountability and access.
