Secondary Transition Workshop – Lawrence
Transition planning is a part of the special education process and is designed to help students with disabilities prepare for post-secondary success. In this workshop, staff will dive into the importance of transition planning around students’ strengths, preferences, and interests and identify opportunities for the student and team to gain knowledge and skills needed for continuing education, work, and community participation, in preparation for adult life.
Presented by Bryan Wilson, Director of Special Services at Maize USD 266/Renwick USD 267.
