Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) Foundations, Day 1 – Lawrence
Have you ever wondered, what makes special education so “special”? Join us for a deep-dive into the world of special education for this training series. In this interactive training, educators will learn about the components of SDI, differentiate between supports available within general education and special education on a continuum to consider LRE, and reflect upon current practices. Staff will also engage in activities that allow them to better understand their own resources, reflect upon data, identify strengths and needs in building student plans, and analyze systems to determine how students’ needs will be met within the least restrictive environment (LRE).
This is Day 1 of a 3-part series. Don’t forget to register for Day 2 (10/23/2025) and Day 3 (11/13/2025) by clicking the dates. This event is presented by Tommie Gonsalez, [email protected].
