When thinking of Kansas, three things come to mind: The Wizard of Oz, sunflowers, and unpredictable weather conditions. Knowing how to keep your eye on the sky is an important lesson for anyone growing up in our corner of the world. This camp will examine the different types of weather throughout the Earth and what we can do to be prepared for every situation.

July 28-29  Exploration Outdoors

Ahh, the great outdoors! Big sky, open fields, lakes and rivers, plants and animals galore! Spending a few hours outside can be a relaxing and educational experience. Dirt, sand, rocks, water, trees, grass, fish, reptiles, and mammals; all of nature sparks a natural curiosity in our young campers’ minds! Come explore all the living and nonliving wonders Greenbush has to offer! We may get messy on the trail, so come prepared!

In this camp, we will explore the science that makes the recipes we use work. From drop biscuits with a simple fruit jelly to homemade pizza, there is science in every aspect of cooking.
