What’s All the Buzz About Coding
June 3-4
Young coders will express their creativity while learning the fundamentals of coding. They will discover the vast possibilities of programming through various activities that encourage curiosity and self-directed learning.
Travel to Africa
June 5-6
Take a safari to Africa and learn all about this fascinating continent and its people. Visit exciting places like Egypt and Kenya! You will have the chance to bring home some amazing souvenirs of your travels.
Prime Martial Arts
June 10-11
Prime Martial Arts is excited to work with Lawrence Greenbush Camps! During our camp we will be learning some basic martial arts and self defense techniques, all while having fun and getting a great workout!
Field to Fork
June 12-13
Youth will explore the world of agriculture and where the food they eat comes from and how it gets to their table!
Lights & Sights / Nature
June 17-18
Lights & Sights: Students discover the secrets of light! Break light into its parts and put them back together, learn about waves and colors, explore reflection, refraction and diffraction. Make your own multi-colored Sun Catchers using only three primary colors, and make messages appear and disappear using colors and patterns that deceive the eye.
Nature: Discover the world outdoors by using microscopes to investigate plants, animals and insects. Create cool tie-dye designs using nature’s beautiful colors, and play the role and develop the skills of a naturalist tracking animals in the wild.
LEGO® Materials
June 19-20
Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects and use special pieces to create your own unique designs! Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.
Fishing Futures *2ND GRADE ONLY*
June 21
Calling all anglers! This adventure will have you reeling in a great time! Join us as we learn Fishing 101 and about the ecology and wildlife of Kansas waters. But don’t swim away yet, there’s more! This academy finishes off with a test of your skills to see who will catch the largest fish and end up with a whale of a tale to tell. Don’t miss this in-sane-ly good time! This camp will be led by Frank Audano who is a Master Angler from Fishing’s Future!
Chemistry
June 24-25
Earth Awareness: Discover how science will help us protect our planet. Children will understand the basics of water pollution, acid rain and the benefits of solar energy. Crazy Chemistry: In this workshop, we investigate chemical reactions happening all around us every day, in the kitchen, the laundry, the garden even the walls! Young scientists will build crystals, make sidewalk chalk, bath fizzers and a chromatography T-shirt, investigate water absorbing chemicals, and use chemical reactions to make their own ice cream.
Jayhawk Gymnastics
June 26-27
Your child will enjoy learning gymnastics skills on all of the Olympic apparatus at Jayhawk Gymnastics Summer Camps. Gymnastics is the basis for all movement, sports or otherwise. Your child will have a blast while improving their coordination, strength and flexibility.
Space Camp / At the Scene of the Crime
July 1-2
Space Camp: Junior Scientists discover how astronauts live and work in space. The sun, moon, stars and gravity are only a few of the things that we must deal with on this Mad Science mission.
At the Scene of the Crime: Become a forensic scientist and learn the science behind solving a crime! Campers will solve their own CSI mystery and eat homemade ice cream.

Prime Martial Arts is excited to work with Lawrence Greenbush Camps! During our camp we will be learning some basic martial arts and self defense techniques, all while having fun and getting a great workout!
Catch the Wind!
June 5-6
Wind! It can be light as a breeze or powerful as a hurricane. It can help steer ships or trash towns. Greenbush is partnering with the K-State Engineering Extension to lead campers through hands-on experiments and engineering challenges that harness the wind! From creating sailcars to building a wind turbine, learn how to turn a tempest into a tailwind that is energy efficient and benefits society!
Art Academy
June 10-11
Put your kids in the Van and let’s Gogh have some fun in art! This elementary art academy will be paintings, gluing, and creating some wonderful artwork while connecting with other campers. Please join in the fun this summer!
Paper Airplanes
June 12-13
Celebrate over 100 years of flight by learning new ways to make paper airplanes. Create an experiment to determine which one is best. Where else can you fly paper airplanes in class and not get in trouble?

Edison’s Workbench / Radical Reactions

Edison’s Workbench: Team up with your fellow camp inventors to explore the inventions of others–kids, women, Rube Goldberg, Thomas Edison and more! Draw inspiration from the wacky and practical. The goal of this full one-day camp is to understand that we have no limitations. Our dreams will inspire invention!
Radical Reactions: What do stomach acids do? Find out with our popper stoppers and liquid ooze. Discover how a clock can run on soda or water without batteries.
Pop Divas and Dudes!
Students will learn some foundational dance skills. In addition, they will learn a fun jazz funk routine to some music by the best-known pop divas and be ready to perform by the end of camp!
Tasty Treats

Whether you are prepping for a party or searching for a snack, this Greenbush camp is for you! We will make culinary creations and party decorations for a themed extravaganza that you can do at home.

Brixology: This camp will guide you and your team to accomplish engineering-themed projects Step in the shoes of an aerospace engineer while assembling a space station and delve into the physics of carnival rides, structural basics of bridges and nature’s very own engineering marvels.

Concrete Engineering: Case Study in Failure
June 10-11
In April, 2013, an eight-story commercial building collapsed in Bangladesh. It is considered the deadliest accidental structural failure in modern human history. Using this case study, create with concrete to see if this catastrophe could have been prevented.

It’s time to have fun at our art academy! Student’s will be drawing, sculpting, collaging,—you name it! Touching on as many mediums of art as possible, come join in the fun!
