This camp is going to be a Thriller! Instead of going Back to the Future we are going back to the 80s where big hair and neon spandex were rad. Join us at the Greenbush Arcade to find out what was big time this decade. You most definitely don’t want to MacGuyver your way out of this camp. Later Days!

Water you doing today? Come to Greenbush so you don’t mist out on a good time! We plan to swim in bubbles and waves of fun, playing all sorts of water games! Parents be warned: you may want your camper(s) to wear their swimsuits since we will become soaked and muddy. We hope to sea you there!

Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael! These names have inspired us for generations, but I’m not talking about the turtles. All art is a form of self-expression, an excellent way to share our thoughts, and ideas with the world. In this camp, we’ll explore the various methods of bringing our imaginations to life.

Superhero Chefs
Come cook like a superhero as we make Spiderman Pancakes and Superman Pizzas! Your little chef will learn the fundamentals of mixing and measuring, healthy eating, working safely in the kitchen, hear fun kitchen stories, and participate in exciting kitchen games/relays! In addition to learning essential cooking skills they will gain kitchen confidence, make new chef friends, make from-scratch recipes, and even bring home a cookbook and some samples!

Critter Quest
Get your binoculars and magnifying glasses ready! Our young wilderness explorers will love this toad-ally awesome camp. Zooming in on herpetology and ornithology, campers will become im-peck-able identifiers of all things that scoot, slither, and soar! This camp will be so ribbit-ting, campers won’t be able to stop raven about it.

Come explore the great outdoors in this two day, one night camp experience! Designed as an introduction to our overnight adventures, this camp has a little bit of everything. Try your hand at canoeing, archery, fishing, ropes course, crafts, and more. Spend some time making new friends and learning what summer camp is all about!

Kitchen Kids
Greenbush Summer Camp is partnering with the Kansas State University Wildcat Extension Office for this culinary camp! You’ve been asked to prepare dinner for the whole family; where do you begin? You don’t know the first thing about cooking. That’s not a problem! Come to Greenbush where we will teach you the basics of cooking. Kitchen safety, sanitation, and proper measuring techniques are just a few of the skills needed to make a bountiful buffet. This camp is an excellent opportunity for young chefs to learn that they can be just that… young chefs!

July 5-6
Walk in the Wild
This academy includes one day of terrestrial and one day of aquatic outdoor exploration! Students will learn how to track and identify native animals by collecting and examining evidence from scat, fur, and tracks of native species. We will also discuss native plants and how to identify them! Day two will be a day of aquatic discoveries as we fish, dip net macroinvertebrates, discuss the importance of water quality and conservation, and observe interesting creatures found in our very own Kansas waters!

Dirt Detectives
What’s the dirt on dirt? Greenbush is partnering with the K-State Extension Office to lead our soil surveyors in this camp. Campers will dig in and get comfortable with compost critters to determine how dirt impacts plants, animals, and our daily lives. From building mini-terrariums to learning about foraging and hydroponics; campers will discover soil solutions and determine if dirt is necessary for survival!

We will travel around the world for the best recipes, launch potatoes to destroy Darth Tater’s death star, and create our own Mr(s). Potato Head to compete in the Potato Olympics, all while enjoying our favorite camp classic activities! You won’t want to be just a spec-tater because this camp will be too a-peeling!

Flight School
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to build and fly your own drone? In this camp you can! Greenbush Summer Camps is partnering with Pitsco to host this gravity defying camp. Campers will design a drone, put it through a series of tests carrying a payload, then complete a flight challenge against other campers!
July 5-6
Engineering with Minecraft
The greatest civilizations of the world were not built in a day, but brick by brick. In this summer academy, our campers will learn about various styles of architecture and the role of an architect within projects. They will then use the popular video game, “Minecraft”, to model buildings in different styles of architecture and will be challenged to create their own style as well.

Dirt Detectives
